One of the founders of “Hope for Humanity & Nature” Mr Sohel Arnool has been donating Zakat to the poor and needy families of a small village called Dekarbori, Shorbhog located in Assam, India for many years now since 2016. The donation money is usually funded by the founder from his own Zakat obligation. This year the Zakat distribution camp was organized under the banner of “Hope for Humanity and Nature”.
Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam and is an essential act of worship for Muslims. It is an obligation for every Muslim who is financially capable to give a portion of their wealth to the poor and needy.
